Jonathan passed away suddenly on Sunday, 12 June
2005. A valued contributor at RTS for over 10 years, Jon was a member
of our Client Services team. He was a leader in the RTS Client Relationship
program and always looked out for the best interests of our clients.
A hard worker, Jonathan was dedicated to RTS and its client base.
Our clients valued his tremendous knowledge, advice, and assistance
in the use of our software systems. We received many kind, much appreciated
words of condolence and support from all of our clients who knew
Jonathan.
Jon enjoyed a wide range of sports. As a participant, he loved to
play rugby and was a Black Belt in Jujitsu. As a spectator, Jon was
an avid Nottingham Forest Football Club supporter and season ticket
holder. He always enjoyed a trip to Trent Bridge to watch some cricket.
We all have fond memories of working with Jon, especially those
of us who travelled with Jon throughout Europe, Africa, and the US.
We all knew the high priority Jon gave to food, the provision of
which normally shaped the course of the day. He always enjoyed his
braais (barbeques) when in South Africa or a steak in Texas, washed
down with a pint or two, wherever the location.
As his brother Simon paid tribute in his eulogy, Jon was always
positive and cheerful with an affirmative outlook on life and an
absolute generosity of spirit. Courage, humour, generosity (and food).
This is how we also will remember Jon.
We will all miss Jonathan deeply and dedicate this tribute to his
wife, Lorna, and his daughter, Molly, to whom he was truly devoted.
A trust fund is being established for Molly. Please contact RTS
at administration@rtscorp.com for details on how to contribute to
the Molly Fund.
Farewell, Jonny, your spirit and memories will always be with us.
