Our solution eliminated the black box experience in pricing and helped automate the processes around sales incentive programs while incorporating them directly into real-time pricing and rating.

The Problem

The Airline was not able find a clear explanation of the prices their existing solution was recommending. They had stopped doing any kind of sales incentive programs, because it demanded manual work to keep a track of.

The Challenge

The client told that performing shopping activity with multiple routes and including cross-sell and up-sell options was so slow that their customers would often just leave the web session and give up.

Our Solution – RTS Accelerate

Our solution helped provide the performance necessary to return multiple options that the customers could pick from to best meet their needs. It incorporated AI/ML based mathematical models to help make pricing decisions. We also helped provide a shopping experience with cross-sell and up-sell opportunities incorporating dynamic pricing.

Our Process

While the implementation timeline was aggressive, our preferred agile method of slotting releases every 6 weeks eliminated any surprises for the user group.

In addition, we also agreed to do a shadow run of our solution to instill confidence with the user group.

The Results

We presented the recommendations from AcceleRate for key markets that resulted in incremental revenue. The airline was very pleased in the end and have had many kind words to share with us.
