Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Support Engineer to maintain and support our .NET-based applications. The candidate will ensure system stability, troubleshoot issues, and provide excellent technical support to users while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.
Experience required: Minimum 5 years
Responsibilities
- Monitor the performance and health of web applications and address issues proactively.
- Respond to and resolve application-related issues reported via ticketing systems within SLA guidelines.
- Investigate root causes of errors and implement fixes or escalate as necessary.
- Collaborate with development teams for code changes and enhancements.
- Perform debugging and implement minor fixes or patches in .NET code as needed.
- Troubleshoot SQL database-related issues.
- Ensure smooth operation of APIs and third-party integrations used by the applications.
- Maintain technical documentation, including known issues, resolutions, and user guides.
- Generate periodic reports on system uptime, issue trends, and resolution metrics.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ASP.NET, C#, and associated frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL Server database.
- Familiarity with debugging tools, such as Visual Studio and Postman.
- Experience with ticketing systems and monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in Angular, .NET Core, PostgreSQL and applications hosted on Azure/AWS will be a plus.
- Experience working in travel and transportation domain will be a plus.
