Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Test Support Engineer to support and maintain the quality of our web applications developed using .NET and SQL Server. The candidate will work closely with the QA, development, and support teams to ensure applications function smoothly, troubleshoot testing environments, and validate fixes.
Experience required: Minimum 5 years
Responsibilities
- Maintain, and troubleshoot testing environments for web applications, including .NET and SQL Server components.
- Ensure integration between test environments and external systems/APIs.
- Investigate issues encountered during testing and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve database, backend, or front-end issues related to test cases.
- Execute automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure smooth integration of new features into production.
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify, reproduce, and report application defects.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to improve test coverage and reliability.
- Document testing processes, known issues, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying test failures and issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
- Proficiency in SQL for writing queries, validating test data, and troubleshooting database-related issues.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing setups will be a plus.
- Experience working in travel and transportation domain will be a plus.
